This custom stainless steel surge tank was designed and fabricated in conjunction with the Bloomington, IL Hospital expansion.  Working closely with the engineers of both the General Contractor, PJ Hoerr, and the Mechanical Contractor, Commercial Mechanical Incorporated, Squibb Tank Company provided a rectangular stainless steel surge tank to support the expanded HVAC needs of the Hospital.  This project required meeting a demanding timeline and adherence to strict dimensional constraints - as the location for this tank was inside an existing structure.  As tank fabrication began, the engineers realized the approved overall height was to tall for the path to move the tank into position.  Squibb Tank Company offered a solution to satisfy the volume requirement and shrinking the overall height.   Our solution allowed for continued tank fabrication and did not affect the overall timeline for the project completion.  

Pictured is the delivery of the tank onsite at the Bloomington, IL Hospital and a few snapshots of the interior.  Although it was a raining and fogging day, Squibb Tank Company was able to deliver.  This is a great looking tank and further exemplifies that Squibb Tank Company is the fabricator of choice for any one-of-a-kind custom tank product.
